So here’s the full joint to that GLC joint featuring Kanye that we saw them working on in the studio. I’m really digging this joint and I’ll even go so far to say that its my favorite GLC joint to date…..not that I’m that HUGE of a fan, but…..I’m a firm believer that everyone has at least ONE…good song. So more and more joints from Luda’s upcoming album ‘Theater of the Mind’ are leaking. Is it me or is leaking in Hip Hop becoming over excessive. I mean, its different when an entire album leaks at the same time, but when songs leak from an album, it sort of ruins the point of an ALBUM. Anywho, I know I really can’t talk because I’m contributing to it by actually blogging the songs, but I felt like playing the Devil’s Advocate for a second. Yea…give it a listen…shouts to 2dopeboyz..

Being that Beyonce’s new album ‘I Am….Sasha Fierce” is dropping tomorrow, I wanted to blog my favorite song from the project. I admit that I had begun to count Beyonce out after her second album, which although was an obvious commercial success, wasn’t as good as her first solo effort. In my opinion, this is one of the best double albums in awhile and I urge everyone to go out and purchase a copy tomorrow when it releases. As far as this song…..to me, its incredible.

I’m really excited to hear this album already. So far, I like almost every joint that’s leaked from it…I wonder how deep he went into the concept for this record, I’m guessing the skits will probably carry the bulk of it. So one of the most highly anticipated joints from Luda’s upcoming “movie” ‘Theater of the Movie’ has leaked. Aside from an annoying DJ tag the track is cool. Its crazy how fast the appeal of having Nas & Jay on the same track has faded into your average run of the mill collaborations. I’m actually not TOO impressed with this joint but I know it will be doper when done live. It seems like one of those joints Nas & Jay did because they were asked to do, not necessarily because they truly WANTED to. But thats just my two cents, how do ya’ll feel?

Here is the original version to Common’s first track from the album Be, produced by the late great J. Dilla. Common is definitely spazzing over this, something that he hasn’t been doing as of late, in my opinion. Also, in my opinion, the version that actually ended up on the album is better! Here’s a new one from Dom Kennedy called Miss Donna Karan and I’ve had it on repeat since I got it, which was about 20 minutes ago. One thing that’s remarkable about Dom is the clarity of his vocals. I don’t think there’s one song of his where I haven’t understood every single word on the first listen. Fresh….

With 808’s & Heartbreak right around the corner, leaks are just dropping left and right. I swear, this album gets more and more interesting the more I hear about it. Although this is my least favorite of the leaked joints the break in between Kanye and Jeezy’s verses is pretty cool. I’ve also noticed the japanese Taiko drums being used in damn near every song along with the wood bits, I wonder what other joints on his album have that. Shouts out to 2DopeBoyz for this one!
