HE SAID, SHE SAID: Angelina Jolie to play Catwoman in next Batman movie?
Filed Under HE SAID, SHE SAID | Leave a Comment
Following the SMASHING success of The Dark Knight its natural for everyone to speculate over who will be Batman’s next villian. Christopher Nolan has made it no mystery that he’s a fan of a few of the earlier installments in the Batman movie franchise and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he chose Catwoman as the next antagonist. But keep in mind people, this is merely he said, she said, and until any concrete news surfaces regarding this, lets keep our fingers twisted. The question is, does Angelina Jolie have what it takes to out do what Michelle Pfeiffer made legendary? Keep reading…
Rumors abound of Angelina Jolie looking into playing Catwoman for the third Batman movie. According to ABC news Australia:
And the news today is that they may well have lined up Angelina Jolie to play Catwoman in the next installment.
Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the 1960’s Batman TV series, says Angelina is perfect for the role:
“Angelina would own the part…my industry friends tell me she has already made inquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman’s one true love.”
This is an interesting rumor floating around right now. I’m not sure what’s more of a rumor though, Angelina wanting to play Catwoman or Julie Newmar still having industry friends. Either way, it’s a good fit for Angelina. I loved what Michelle Pfeiffer did in the role, and Angelina could pull it off.
Helping this rumor out though, is the website you’re currently reading. We do know that as of this writing, they are looking for a female lead character for the third Batman movie. Angelina’s supposed inquiry just seems to solidify what we’ve heard.
Bear this in mind, this is ALL rumor until confirmed. Things change like crazy in Hollywood every day, so what we’re told one day, could end up being something entirely different the next. But what we know, right now, is that the powers that be (DC/Warner Brothers) want a strong female lead for the third Batman movie. As friend or foe, it’s too early too tell.
There’s also the possibility of another stand alone Catwoman movie but after the Halle Berry disaster, odds are that isn’t the case. Stay tuned for more info.

So the most anticipated album of the year supposedly leaked it’s snippets and I must say I’m not impressed with these AT ALL. There are like 2 songs on this album that sound promising, Dr. Carter and Shoot Me Down, but for the most part this album sounds like poo water. This album is going to sell purely based on hype, and to all you young bucks out there that try to argue that Weezy is the best, The Carter 3 could possibly make it harder to win that argument. Tell me what YOU think! Am I wrong for not feeling this?? Am I just an old guy with a mustache?

50 Cent In Talks For $300M Fox/Myspace Deal - includes touring, Website and Film Projects
If everything goes according to plan, by next year 50 Cent will be one of the richest and most powerful men in all of entertainment. 50 Cent is in the midst of putting together one of the most comprehensive entertainment deals ever signed.
According to sources, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson” is on the verge of signing a 10 year deal which will give News Corp far reaching control over the 50 Cent brand. And the deal is also poised to launch the company’s MySpace Records into the big leagues.
At least half of the deal will be in stock. 50 Cent will be one of the largest shareholders of News Corp. when the deal is done. Some of the terms of the proposed deal include:
-50 Cent’s website Thisis50.com, one of the fastest growing websites in the world, will be acquired and run by News Corp
-The multi-platinum 50 Cent and his G-Unit artists will move to a new G-Unit label created under MySpace Records.
-50 Cent and G-Unit music publishing
-G-Unit book deal
-all of 50’s concert touring would be marketed and sold through a newly created News Corp entity
-50 would get his own production studio to put out film and tv projects.
While nothing has been finalized, the deal is scheduled to go into effect in 2009 , after 50 Cent and G-Unit fulfill their album requirements with Interscope Records.
This is along the same lines of Jay Z’s Live Nation deal, yet with broader media range…..in other words..

This is all heresay, but how intriguing would this be if he actually pulled it off?
JAY-Z’S 24-HOUR CONCERT?
How does this work? I heard Jay-Z is going to be doing a 24-hour concert – in one sitting. I am not exactly sure how this works. You might recall in 2006, Jay-Z did that hangar thing where he hit 7 cities in 24 hours - Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. This is different. I hear Jay is going to do a show, one shot for 24 hours straight. I would assume he is going to need a few good friends to make this happen and some super loyal fans that don’t sleep much. Come to think about it, I would be a perfect candidate for that.
Maybe this is Jay’s response to The Glow In The Dark Tour, but whatever the details, I’m trying to be there..

HE SAID, SHE SAID: Possible Street Single For Dr. Dre’s Detox Album
Filed Under HE SAID, SHE SAID | Leave a Comment
Apparently this is an unfinished joint that’s supposed to be on Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated album called Detox. Much like the Miguel/Ne-Yo, Karina Pasian/Cassie joints, this isn’t actually Dr. Dre but a ghostwriter named Prophet who works closely with the Aftermath camp. The song is called It’s Like That and it’s produced by Dr. Dre and WallStreet.
