So apparently, this is how motorcycles are intended to be rode. In the most crazy way imaginable, this random guy is seen riding his motorcycle laying down while texting. Lane switching and EVERYTHING! I didn’t know whether to post this as a SMASH, because he obviously smashes on everyone else that rides a motorcycle, or as a FRESH. So while I’m not a motorcyclist myself, I can’t assume that this isn’t “commonplace” for the elite, so lets just call it a FRESH! Shouts out to Kanye for this one!

I must admit that this is kinda crazy, lol. Although I highly doubt this will become the next standard in beatmaking, but I’m pretty sure someone will use the iPhone Beat Maker just to brag about making a hit from a cell phone. As with any beat maker, its set up with touch pads and a sequencer, pretty simple. And it allows you to record sounds from your computer right into the phone, talk about ring-tones made easy! In this video, Henny from Tha Bizness sits down and gives a demonstration on how to get your iPhone banging out beats. And the beat he makes isn’t too shabby either, for a cell phone, lol.

P.S. This program works for the iTouch & iPhone!

I’ve heard great things about Etienne De Crecy’s live show but never got a chance to see what all the hype was about then I came across this. This is a clip of the French house producer performing at a festival called Transmusicales which is held in Rennes, France, and it looks incredible. I wish hip hop were this creative cause honestly I’m getting tired of nodding my head, putting my hands up and saying “HOOOO”. Step your game up, please!

Now this song is pretty old and I remember thinking how dope a video would be for this if it ever saw the light of day. Not much wrong can happen when you have Fonzworth Bentley, Kanye West, Andre3000, and Sa-Ra helming production. The theme of the video takes cues from Harlem Nights with a dash of Temptations. It looked like everyone enjoyed themselves also! Check it out..

I meant to post this quite sometime ago but I’ve been getting ready for Your New Favorite Mixtape to drop soon and being that it’s crunch time right now it slipped my mind. Better now than never though right? Here’s a real fresh one from Shawn Jackson called Feelin Jack pt. II and it’s produced by Snowman of Jack Sample Pros, so you know it’s bananas. It’s not featured on his debut album First Of All so you might wanna check this out. Enjoy..

Mika, who’s most famously known for his song Relax (Take It Easy), recently had a live concert @ Parc Des Princes in Paris. I had been searching for a good video of this show after finding pictures of it on Mr. Wests blog. While I’m almost certain Mika was working on the concept and design of this concert while Kanye was working on the Glow In The Dark tour, it’s refreshing to see that someone else is pushing live shows into the future. The entire set is interactive, its as grand as The Glow In The Dark Tour, but isn’t in the same lane as Kanye’s. And while Kanye’s was a one man show, this set included characters, a live band, and with Mika himself. This is probably the most interesting the music scene as a whole has been in years….

So Nas is continuing his viral campaign as the release of his next album “Untitled” draws near. I hope he makes at least two more of these videos to properly give this album the promotion and push it should have. I’m glad Def Jam is behind him, regardless of the title change, what really mattered is that the content remained intact and these videos provide visuals for the music. I’m sure many people have already got their hands on Nas’ new album due to the leak this past week, but I urge everyone to go out and purchase it when it officially releases. SUPPORT GOOD MUSIC!

So this past Saturday, was at The Standard Hotel in Downtown LA for Pacific Division’s show. And as it happens, whenever I go to The Standard, I have a ball and meet many new people. I remember watching this freestyle session with the homie El Prez and Like of Pacific Division. Its always funny to see how the videos for these things turned out. Check it, and if you’re in the LA area, be sure to hit up The Standard Hotel on Saturday’s for the pool party!

So yesterday I was surfing my favvvvvvvvvvorrite video site, Vimeo.com, and I came across this Staff Pick - Where The Hell is Matt? So, lemme give you a short background on who exactly Matt is. Matt is an average Joe from Australia who decided early in life that all he wanted to do was play video games. Accomplishing this early on he soon found that video games weren’t as fulfilling as he had originally thought. So on a trip around Asia with friends, he was coaxed into doing this signature dance he has while his friend video taped it. Little did he know that that dance would spark a phenomenon. The video found its way onto the internet and began spreading like wildfire. Somewhere along the line the video ended up in the hands of Stride Gum. Stride liked it so much they offered to pay Matt to travel the world doing his dance, and the rest is HISTORY!

Shake said this might be old…but it’s new to me. I’m a fan of MPhazes, so when I heard he linked up with Skyzoo I had to hear it. And I must say, it’s not bad….not bad at all. Kudos fellas.
