Wow. I’m still trying to wrap my head around this one. I think this might be one of the must see shows of the year, Roger Waters at Coachella is a pretty nice one, but damn. Live instrumentation, incredible sound, surprise guests, new songs. I will definitely be in attendance. Hell, Rihanna might even sing to me.

There were a lot of solid movies that came out last year and this year, and this years Academy Award show will definately be an interesting one. Here are the nominees for this year:
Best Original Screenplay: Juno, Lars and The Real Girl, Michael Clayton, Ratatouille, and The Savages
Best Motion Picture Of The Year: Atonement, Juno, Michael Clayton, No Country For Old Men, and There Will Be Blood
Best Actress In A Leading Role: Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth: The Golden Age), Julie Christie (Away From Her), Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose), Laura Linney (The Savages), and Ellen Page (Juno).
Best Actor In A Leading Role: George Clooney (Michael Clayton), Daniel Day Lewis (There Will Be Blood), Johnny Depp (Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street), Tommy Lee Jones (In The Valley Of Elah), Viggo Mortensen (Eastern Promises)
Damn….no love for American Gangster? I didn’t think it was all that fly either haha, although….Ruby Dee did get a nomination for best supporting actress, proving she still has what it takes.
