I shouldn’t really have to remind you, but Johnson & Jonson is performing live tomorrow night in downtown Los Angeles at Boombox! You should be there, its the album release so that means…..rare gems from the album! Don’t sleep, get there.

It’s that time again, and if you aren’t too up on game about that time then let me fill you in. Every first Saturday of the month there is an event called Boombox that is held in Downtown LA, Chinatown to be exact. Due to the fact that Boombox is only once a month it usually means that the guest hosts are a big deal. Last month they had Pacific Division come down and even J Rocc of the infamous Beat Junkies rocked a set. Well, this month the good ol Soul Scienz crew decided to have Blu & Mainframe roll through and perform as Johnson & Jonson to celebrate the release of the Johnson & Jonson album, which drops September 23rd on Tres Records. Guest appearances from Gaslamp Killer, Exile, Gonja Sufi and Co$$. This will definitely be an event you don’t want to miss…..TRUST ME!

Ok, so unfortunately, there isn’t an official flyer for this show, but I definitely recommend checking this out if you make it out of work on time. Lykke Li is known for being very intimate with her performances and using sparse instrumentation. I wanted to put up a fresh video of her Black Cab Session for those that haven’t seen any clips of her live. Oh yeah, and the show is FREE. Enjoy & here’s the info:

I haven’t seen TiRon perform in quite sometime so this should be pretty fresh. He’s performing at The Temple Bar in Santa Monica on the 27th of this month. Tickets are only 10 bucks at the door and 5 if you get them in advance, so quit being cheap and shell out the dough. If you’re not too familiar with TiRon, you should definitely check out his Handshakes & Pounds Mixtape that dropped sometime last year.

Tickets are going for 10 bucks and from the looks of the calender that means payday is on Friday.
