I must say, I was very disappointed with a lot of the performances from last nights VH1 Hip Hop Honors award show. Most of them were very boring and certain joints didn’t match up with certain performers, but this one was pretty cool. MC Lyte comes out and blesses a quick excerpt from The Rulers Back to start it off then Busta Rhymes who’s sporting the classic eye patch does Mona Lisa. Easily the freshest part of this performance was when Ghostface came out to rock Lodi Dodi with Biz Markie who was on the decks that night. I wish I was in the audience when that went down…
I can’t really co-sign Fabolous’s performance, but it’s kinda hard to go after Ghost.
