Finally! Here is the official video for Pharoahe Monch’s remake of Public Enemy’s Welcome To The Terrordome. This joint was on Pharoahe’s last album Desire and this was easily one of my favorite songs on the entire record, might even my absolute favorite. Pretty good time to drop this video in my opinion. I saw the trailer for this movie on TV a day or so ago. The Boy In The Striped Pajamas is about a kid named Bruno growing up in nazi Germany who finds a concentration camp while exploring a forest near his new home. Unaware of the situation he ends up befriending a Jewish boy through the barbed wire fence and their forbidden relationship eventually causes conflict. The innocence of this story somewhat reminds me of Life Is Beautiful but the dynamics of this story are much different. Looks like it’s gonna be pretty good.

I gotta say, I really dig hearing emcees black out on joints with very little drums. It allows you to really zone out and listen to what is actually being said and Diz Gibran does that extremely well. This event is definitely gonna be a live one! Red Bull Big Tune’s head to head producer beat battle is gonna be at the El Rey Theatre and for all of you beat heads consider this an early Christmas gift. Live performances from Little Brother and the featured producer of the evening will be the legendary Battlecat. It’s only 5 bucks to get in and it’s all ages, so come one come all!
P.S. - Producers bring your A game, cause word on the street is Swiff D might walk away with this one.
