So recently Vibe Magazine released their 15th Anniversary Issue with Jay Z as the headline for the cover. The result was three different collector covers that hit the newsstands. In my opinion, being that magazines and newspapers are slowly phasing out, I’d recommend buying one of these issues. So this man’s last dying wish was to allow family and friends who attended his wake to have their final contact with him…literally. To accomplish this, through a special embalming process Angel Pantoja Medina, who was dead, could physically be at his own wake….in the corner. Family members even kissed him…

It’s that time again, and if you aren’t too up on game about that time then let me fill you in. Every first Saturday of the month there is an event called Boombox that is held in Downtown LA, Chinatown to be exact. Due to the fact that Boombox is only once a month it usually means that the guest hosts are a big deal. Last month they had Pacific Division come down and even J Rocc of the infamous Beat Junkies rocked a set. Well, this month the good ol Soul Scienz crew decided to have Blu & Mainframe roll through and perform as Johnson & Jonson to celebrate the release of the Johnson & Jonson album, which drops September 23rd on Tres Records. Guest appearances from Gaslamp Killer, Exile, Gonja Sufi and Co$$. This will definitely be an event you don’t want to miss…..TRUST ME!
