I found this hilarious video @ DailyMotion.com. Its a collaboration between the two biggest groups (after Daft of course) to come out of France on the “French Touch” scene…Simian Mobile Disco & Justice. The theme of this video is basically mass pranks being pulled on unsuspecting sleeping people who obviously were under the influence of something the night prior. I’ve been known to pull a prank or two, but I guess I was never inventive enough to take it this far…or at least never “cruel” enough. LOL..Enjoy.

Its crazy to see how over the past couple of years, Nas has somewhat fell into the “conscious” rapper group. Specifically, acts like Mos Def, The Roots & Talib Kweli etc. And this isn’t a bad thing by any means. Its just surprising considering these are acts us fans have wanted to see collaborate with Nas for years. So maybe the biggest benefit from Nas’ tour (The Jones’ Experience), is that the possibility of a collaboration happening between Talib & Nas has just increased! As everyone knows, the Rock The Bells tour is in full effect, and the Jones’ Experience Tour will be going on in-between RTB tour dates. Following the SMASHING success of The Dark Knight its natural for everyone to speculate over who will be Batman’s next villian. Christopher Nolan has made it no mystery that he’s a fan of a few of the earlier installments in the Batman movie franchise and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he chose Catwoman as the next antagonist. But keep in mind people, this is merely he said, she said, and until any concrete news surfaces regarding this, lets keep our fingers twisted. The question is, does Angelina Jolie have what it takes to out do what Michelle Pfeiffer made legendary? Keep reading…
Rumors abound of Angelina Jolie looking into playing Catwoman for the third Batman movie. According to ABC news Australia:
And the news today is that they may well have lined up Angelina Jolie to play Catwoman in the next installment.
Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the 1960’s Batman TV series, says Angelina is perfect for the role:
“Angelina would own the part…my industry friends tell me she has already made inquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman’s one true love.”
This is an interesting rumor floating around right now. I’m not sure what’s more of a rumor though, Angelina wanting to play Catwoman or Julie Newmar still having industry friends. Either way, it’s a good fit for Angelina. I loved what Michelle Pfeiffer did in the role, and Angelina could pull it off.
Helping this rumor out though, is the website you’re currently reading. We do know that as of this writing, they are looking for a female lead character for the third Batman movie. Angelina’s supposed inquiry just seems to solidify what we’ve heard.
Bear this in mind, this is ALL rumor until confirmed. Things change like crazy in Hollywood every day, so what we’re told one day, could end up being something entirely different the next. But what we know, right now, is that the powers that be (DC/Warner Brothers) want a strong female lead for the third Batman movie. As friend or foe, it’s too early too tell.
There’s also the possibility of another stand alone Catwoman movie but after the Halle Berry disaster, odds are that isn’t the case. Stay tuned for more info.

Continuing with their 2008 Olympics inspired releases, Nike brings us the Olympic Color Pack. I must say that this is my favorite dunk low release in the past 2 years! Lately I’ve been into solid colors because it allows you rock that simple outfit with the focus being primarily on the shoes…. And of course if you’re funky enough, you can through on a colorful outfit with it..not my style though. Yes people, Zack Lee gets it in! Nike continues to present product specifically for the Beijing Olympics event. The latest we came across is this Dunk Low Color Pack. It consists of five Dunk Lows, all coming in a unicolor upper in red, green, yellow, blue and grey. They all feature the Olympic Octagon logo that Nike has been using for all Olympic themed product, on the tongue tag. Furthermore the Swoosh come in felt material.
The Nike Beijing Olympics Color Pack will be released at X-Girl retailers in Japan on the 8th of August, with the opening of the Olympics.

I admit I don’t watch much television, mainly because I think it effects my intelligence, lol. But I do try to at least keep up with current events via the internet. Now, be it beyond Hannity to not have a segment criticizing Ludacris’ new song about Obama. It would be wrong to say that white people don’t understand Hip Hop when the truth is that people like to draw conclusions from words in order to further an agenda. Suffice to say and oddly enough, the two youngest, blondest, women on the show end up SMASHING on Hannity’s point and poor Ms. Bay…

TRUE: Chris Brown’s Hit Single Forever Is An Ad For Wrigley’s Doublemint Gum

A good friend told me about this and at first I didn’t believe him, but damn…I guess it was true! Chris Brown’s hit single Forever is about a stick of chewing gum!
Sharp-eared pop-music fans may have noticed a brief reference to an old chewing-gum jingle buried in “Forever,” Chris Brown’s top-10 hit. “Double your pleasure/double your fun,” the R&B singer croons in the chorus.
What listeners don’t know — and what Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. planned to reveal Tuesday — is that the song is a commercial.
“Forever” is an extended version of a new Doublemint jingle written by Mr. Brown and scheduled to begin airing next month in 30-second spots for Wrigley’s green-packaged chewing gum.
Mr. Brown is one of a trio of pop stars enlisted by ad agency Translation Advertising, a unit of Interpublic Group of Cos., to update the images of three of Wrigley’s best-known brands.
Great promo idea Wrigley’s….well played.
