SMASH: Miguel’s “Let’s Just Be” vs. Ne-Yo’s “Let’s Just Be”

I just heard that Neyo’s new single is gonna be “Let’s Just Be”, a song that I heard Miguel sing YEARS ago. I decided to listen to both, and once again I must side with its original owner (due to biased opinion). Although, Ne-Yo’s bridge is amazing. Either way its a hit. So Miguel, fantastic job. BRIDGETOWN!

    I agree with you on your decision with miguel with this. even though i went to school with him and been following his music since high school doesnt mean anything because ne-yo is an awesome singer but the way miguels voice and delivery and everything on this song made it. Blu & Mig Money put Bridgetown on the map. Were de to be known by now. Bridgetoooowwwwnnnnn!

    ne-yo wrote getcha hands up also but miguel altered some of the things in the song becuase it wasnt his style and other reasons. i dunno bout ne-yo remaking the song but if he did he is just doin that to show people he wrote it like he did with beyonce “irriplaceable”. miguel is next to come up real talk.

    someone told me miguel did the get ya hands up beat, which led me 2 assume he wrote the song, regardless, ur right, hes next 2 blow & has 1/2 the forehead.

    no he didnt do the beat. Curve did the beat. listen to majors verse on getcha hands up. and why would you be clowning on miguel? you hating cuz he about to have the game on lock and get money. stop hating and get a life.
